Teaching Moments

Two nights ago we were reading from the Book of Mormon with Connor and we got on the topic of missionaries. We talked about the different people in our family that had been or currently are missionaries and Connor pointed to himself and asked, "Connor missionary?" We said, yes Connor can be a missionary. He was so excited and started jumping around the room saying "Yeah, missionary!" We were so proud, until he stopped and turned to us and stated, "Missionary in Luke Skywalker." So...I guess we have a while yet to teach him that he doesn't get to wear his Luke Skywalker costume as a missionary.

Well at least it is a good guy that he picked to be a missionary. Isn't it great when they get the lessons. Makes all the times when you think they are not worth it. Looks like your baby is coming soon. May God bless that everything goes wonderful!

Haha! This story cracks me up! I see that you are down to single digits as far as days till your due date! I'll admit I am a little envious but super excited for you!

You can't? Our inevitably geeky sons will be terribly disappointed.

Actually, I think the church is changing their policy on missionary attire. Capes and Light Sabers are totally acceptable these days. No worries Connor!!
